I had a bubble party with my friends. Bonnie the bubble lady was amazing.

We got to go inside a giant bubble.

She made bubbles with smoke inside that we could hold and a bubble volcano.

I got to play bubble tennis with a bubble as the ball.

She made me funny bubble hair too but that is too embarrassing to show the photo!

It was school sports day and my house, Snake Hill, won the cup this year!!

Mummy was very proud of me as I joined in everything and had great fun because I found the last sports days a bit difficult.

I  was not scared of the sprint races this year and I ran really fast!

I really liked the speed bounce an was really fast at it.

I am looking forward to next year when I get to try the big hurdles…these one are too small!

It was my birthday on 12th June, I am finally 7!

When I came downstairs in the morning I found birthday presents and balloons.  I was allowed to open some small presents but the rest had to wait until after school.

I got to roll about in the wrapping paper.

I have been short listed for the final of the Deddington writing competition. I get to go to the award ceremony on Sunday 22nd June. We had to write a story of a poem that started “When the door opened…”

I wrote a poem all about when the door opened to the reptile shop and I first met Speedy and chose him as my pet.

I did a duathlon at Blenheim palace today. I had to run around the field and then ride my bike around the field and then run again.  It was very heavy rain and I got drenched but it was brilliant fun.

Afterwards Mummy let me go in all the big puddles in my trainers because I was already soaked. Before my race it was sunny and Mummy promised me an ice cream when I finished. I still had my ice cream in the rain. The ice cream man had to turn on the ice cream machine just for me as I was the only person who wanted ice cream in the rain!

Mummy, Grandad Dennis and me went to Mummy’s cousins birthday party. It took ages to get there but I watched Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2 and listened to book 9 of How to train your dragon so it was OK. We went in Grandad Dennis’s car.

At the party there was a big bouncy castle and I met Chester who I really liked. He is 6 like me. We played on the bouncy castle lots, did drawing and made loom band bracelets and told each other lots of secrets. I got to stay up until 11 at night. I was sad to go home as I loved playing with Chester.

Kyle let me feed to huge fish. There were koi carp and goldfish and they took the food out of my hands! They also have two lovely dogs.

Mummy’s cousin Lynn had a birthday cake that looked like a blue campervan and it was very cool.

The comma butterflies emerged. It was hard to take a photo of them as they would not open their wings. I loved watching them fly away to find flowers.

Today I passed my survival swimming badge. I had to tread water and swim in my clothes. It was hard but fun.

This is dried mud that you mix with water to make lots of compost. I mixed it all up and then made mud castles!
