Mummy took me to Legoland!

I was feeling sad as i had forgotten to bring Stinky but I was happy when Mummy drove into Legoland, it was an amazing surprise.

Mummy was happy as there was lot of star wars lego to see.

You could press a button to play music and guns firing and the Millenium Falcon took off!

I got to go on loads of fun ride. Mummy was scared but I was not. I waved my hands when we were on the pirate ship but she clung on tight.

We saw a funny pirate show and lots of pirates fell into the water from really high up and made amazing splashed. They had a jet ski too which was cool.

I got to drive a real boat made from lego. There were lots of dragons made from lego which I loved.

This is a red fire shrimp and I was allowed to let it feel all over my hands. It was very cute.

There were some fish tanks to see and you could stand inside the tank!

This is the most epic water park ever. There were slides and a hug bucket that filled with water and then splashed down over all the children. Mummy said I was shivering like mad but it was fun. This picture is me doing cartwheels in the puddles because I was so happy.

I found a grey lego cat like Ferdy!

This campsite is the best because there are things to climb outside in the wood and there is an indoor climbing wall!

Mummy and I went to Chedworth Roman Villa. We are staying in a camp site really nearby. There is the Fosse way next to our campsite and that use to be a Roman road. Mummy said Roman solider ghost might march on the Roman road so all I would see would be the top of their bodies but she is just talking nonsense.

I liked the Roman snails best. The Romans used to keep them at the villa to eat and their babies are still crawling about. They are huge!

This is a Roman wax tablet that children use to write on at school. You scratch your work into the wax with a stylus.

This is a sponge on a stick. It is a real sponge from the ocean not a fake one. You had to dip it in the water and then use it to wash your bottom!

This is a sinistra which is a musical instrument that you shake to make the long bits rattle.

This is 9 mens morris which is a game I like to play and today I found out it is a Roman game!

This is a funny foot ice cream Mummy brought me. It is an old one that she used to eat when she was little.

The Roman villa was great fun. I liked learning about making thread from wool and how to dye and knit it from Roman Sue. She was not a real Roman lady just a lady pretending to be Roman who knew loads of stuff about Roman times. I would like to try and make woad dye like she explained to me. First I need woad plants and they are like cabbage. Then I boil them in old wee for 3 days with ash! But it is worth it because the dye is blue!

Mummy and I are camping. This it a tiny millipede that was in my shower at the campsite. At first I thought it was a leech and I don’t like them but millipede are cute!

Mummy and Grandad Dennis took me to do Go Ape in Cannock forest.

Mummy and I wore a harness and we climbed up some steps into the trees.

We got to climb across different bridges between the trees and go down a zip wire which was epic!  It was hard and scary to start with but then it was brilliant fun and I ran across the bridges.

My pond is a newt nursery. Last month I found that my pond was full of newt egg sacks. I have seen 4 Great Crested newts in my pond.

Now the pond is full of baby newts that Mummy keeps calling Newt-poles. They are so cute!

Today I caught some to look at them and they are getting really big.  I think there are two different species of newt babies. I just put my net in the pond and catch two of three every time!

There was a fun street barbecue in my road. Mrs Barber painted my face

and we painted mummy’s face!

I decided to experiment to see if ice melts faster in bubbly water

Today I cleaned out Speedy’s house. This time he was farming little black beetles and their babies.

I read him some stories in my bed while Mummy took all the big things out of his house. I then cleaned all his sand and gravel and put the rocks and wood back for him to climb all over.
